Players should be able to kill others knocked out tames in pve

Me and my tribe mate spent 2 hours taming a rex and one person came by and killed it. We couldnt do anything except watch him do it because we couldnt pick him up or kill him.  We have proof that we had one and it would be cool if we could get another some how.
